My wife and I went out with Captain Nick this morning. We live in Port Orange and do some inshore fishing, but we wanted to try offshore fishing. After reading Captain Nick’s reviews, we decided to give him a shot—and let me tell you, the reviews don’t lie! The dude is awesome and literally never stops working to make sure you have a great trip. The weather started out rough and wasn’t what we expected, so we couldn’t get as far offshore as Captain Nick originally planned. But he pivoted quickly, found us some other spots, and got us right on the fish! We caught 50+ fish and even a couple of sharks! If you’re looking to go fishing around New Smyrna, Ponce Inlet, Port Orange, or the Daytona area, stop reading the other reviews and just hire Captain Nick. You’ll thank me later!

We booked with nick for a fishing charter with us and the kids and we had the best time! The kids had a blast and caught a bunch of fish and my husband and I had so much fun and caught fish ourselves as well! Nick showed us the proper way to deep sea fish, he was super patient and informative, and worked hard to make sure we got really good fishing on not such great conditions. Another great trip with Captain Nick! We had an amazing time, caught a bunch of fish, and thankfully the weather held out. The recipe Captain Nick recommended for cooking the shark turned out incredible—everyone in the house couldn’t stop eating it! We’re already looking forward to our next fishing trip. Captain Nick took my husband, our 13 and 14 year old kids, and my husband’s uncle put on a deep sea charter and it was amazing!!! They had the best time. Nick made sure to get the kids on fish they could catch as well as some sharks and snapper for the adults. They even hooked the largest bull shark imaginable out in open water! Had a most excellent trip with Capt Nick!! He had a last minute cancellation and didn’t hesitate to get my group locked in for a Saturday morning trip. Caught a bunch of trout and snagged a half dozen sharks. Nick knows NSB area fishing game well and put us right on some really nice fish. I’ve been out with Nick twice now, both times have been a great experience. He’s a native and it shows in his experience and passion for the game. This second time I took my father in law out for Father’s Day to try and find some sharks, we had a great time and got some keepers! Nick offers a genuine fishing experience, you will bait your hook, cast your own line, and catch your own fish. If this is the kind of charter experience you’re after then look no further because Nick is the best.
